    Post Forum Updates 18/03/2013

Hi guys, we made some small updates to the forum today!

The first is our introduction of the Pivot 4 Support button, with the latest and greatest version of Pivot reaching an ever-growing audience I felt it was important that new users can get all the help they need with a single click.

The second is the inclusion of our Facebook page in the Extras tab, we've never really been big on social networking but I wanted to create a clear distinction between the Facebook group and the Facebook page.

And that's it for today's updates, I'm pleased to announce that our webstore is going to be going under refurbishment within the next 2 weeks, with lots of new goodies to buy and even some free stuff!

As always we welcome feedback, if you guys have any ideas you want implemented into the forum (No one say portal!) we'd love to hear them!

Well, first above all, I'd love to see things a bit more organised. You'll know what I'm talking about after seeing this snip:

Second, there should be an indicator for the current members being on chat, just like PivotAnimation.org:
    [tn=555:1e6vmxjf]http://puu.sh/2jXgR[/tn:1e6vmxjf]

    And third:

Make the Facebook button square, like this:

Also, I second that the FaceBook logo should be squared.

User control panel is shortened and it looks odd.

Looks different but I quite like it.
But yeah, the alignment should definitely be fixed.

    Re: Forum Updates 18/03/2013

User control panel was shortened so the nav bar could potentially have new sections in the future and avoid looking cramped, I'm tempted to change it to "My Profile" though.

The Facebook button should be squared? The style currently matches the YouTube button, unsure on that request.

The chat counter may well be impossible, as I know Adam had difficulties with that and he made the software! I'll shoot an e-mail though.

Alignment is definitely an issue and is something I'm looking into.

    A forum overhaul is unlikely.

I'm with you guys on the return of the portal, unfortunately the best I could do at this time is a manual approval portal (So similar to Stickpage's front page) as I have no idea how automatic portals/bots work. Last time I talked to someone about building one I got the price down to £1000, so it's not off the table.
