    kinda trippy

    so i was browsing the internet
    and found this amazing picture...and attempted to recreate it...
    so here was my attempt

    its kinda like an optical illusion
    he only thing you have to do is cut out the picture around the box and pencil
    and then put your hand over one of the hands being drawn

    I know that artists. It's M.C. Escher.
    Damn, that's well drawn. You didn't trace did you? :P

    It looks alot like the original, but maybe the shading could use some work. Looks kind of flat.

    it does look flat, that is probably because i could never quite get the shading correct...
    hmm..
    ill have to find it again...

    Thats nice man, although go easy on the smudging. That is why it looks pretty flat. Try doing a drawing with no smudging, and when doing it, think in 3-dimensional planes.

    And that's probably a very good idea..
    Never thought about not-smudging it...
    I perhaps should also make the lines more distinct...hmm.

    That's a hugely famous sketch by Escher. He also did the whole never-ending staircase mallarkey and other optical illusions. Learn your art history, kids.

    Anyway, that's a pretty sweet recreation. Had I not been paying attention I would've thought it was the original.
