    TAKING TREE



    Finished it a couple minutes ago
    *slight darkening in photoshop cs4*


    I did what Mackeo always asks, with the darkest darks a lightest lights....

    Pretty good, the shape's organic and all, but it lacks texture and needs more work on the shading.

    Thanks, this was just a dumn quick-sketch but i'll see if sometime i can clean it up some more!

    Ok, a lot better. Looks pretty good actually. Get a softer pencil (6b, 4b or whatever) and go over the darks again, then go back and put in some mid tones, but keep it to 2 other values.
    The main problem right now is that you don't have a definite light source.
