Fraz's journey of becoming an artist

Yeah, just trying to get better.

Second attempt at acrylic roughly 1 hour. On paper (1:1)

Oil paint - an hourish. On non primed mdf (this picture is larger than the painting)

    Sharpie on paper

Pencil sketch, going to be painted. On primed mdf

The banana oil paint is very fluent, nice defined brush strokes with good grasp on shading and highlights.

the poses of the female model are very well done, though you need to work on your waist area, sometimes you overtwist or get the thickness a bit short or thick.

good work though, are these hobbys or for college ?

Hobby, thanks for the comment. I need to do some anatomy studies soon, but right now I am just trying to get drawing what I see up to a higher standard. Thanks for the tips!

Banana painting was the best IMO.

Good job on te sharpie sketches though, it takes me forever to get a decent sketch with a sharpie on the first try.

I like your acrylic work, can't wait for your finished work (the bottom). Subtle shading on both fruit. I think the waist area is slightly under worked, but I'm not one to say, I suck at them too.

Sharpies aren't an effective medium but I liked it.

Love that head, it's a complex angle and she's pretty attractive which is always hard to do, for me anyways. ._.
