    Good Art

I'm getting kind of irritated, well, actually very irritated at what people are calling "perfect" and amazing art here. So, post your favorite artists or pieces of art which you find most impressive and have broken your perspective on what is "amazing." I'm pretty sure there was a thread like this before; not sure where it went.

Well being the perfectionist I am, I'm very impressed by hyperrealism.

    This guy is a nice example. http://denis-peterson.deviantart.com/ , http://denispeterson.com

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v309/ ... urptg4.jpg
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v309/ ... tings2.jpg

    All paintings.

I love many other pieces from just about every style but hyperrealism tends to impress me the most. That's certainly an opinion though.

LilyoAnimations you can't have "cartoonish hyperrealism." That's a complete oxymoron.

What you posted would be a cartoon rendered in a more realistic style. But would never be at all categorized as hyperrealism.

eh, not a fan of hyper realism, it's amazing that they're that good and all, but it's just not that "amazing" to look at because it's so damn real. I'm a big Salvador Dali fan

i'm not sayign cartoonish hyperrealism. It's like you make one thing in the animation ( the hands for example) look real, and then add the cartoon dude.. or somehting liek that
    whatever lol

    Re: Good Art

    I like stuff like:

    http://lexusenthusiast.com/images/weblo ... r-dali.jpg
    http://science.kukuchew.com/wp-content/ ... bikini.jpg

    And surprisingly:

    http://londonsketchbook.com/wp-content/ ... maroon.jpg

I know most people don't consider it artwork, but I really like how simple it is, yet it is nice to look at.
I saw it in real life once, and it was huge, it took up the whole wall.
