I'd be more than glad to take over in his apparent absence, provided that you all think it'd be a good idea. It seemed to work out well enough last time. I'll get to editing the first post and whatnot.Originally Posted by Sniper
NOTE: We will not be dealing with seam issues this time. That was a laborious, painstaking procedure last time to try and get all of the seams fixed. I will reject any and all squares that insist on failing the simple premise of seamlessness.
Also, I was pondering ways to make the entire thing seem more like one piece of art, which is the entire point here. Perhaps a single background pattern/image that is prevalent throughout the entire piece?
Oh yeah, and DON'T START YOUR ENTRIES YET. You have no idea what the previous square looks like, so don't make yours and later try to shove in some transition and call it great. As of now, V3ex is the first in line, and we're going to wait awhile to start this. I want to make sure every participant is clear on the ground rules, and is aware that if they do not adhere to them, they will be promptly rejected.
And what do you guys think about increasing the size of each square? Last time I heard there were problems with the size constraints.

Nah, don't have something like a background pattern. The whole point of this is for the individuals to work together to create one single piece of artwork. The one thing that could be done better this time is the naming section, which I think stood out too much in the old one. Do we each go twice?
Also, I think 650 should be good, 750 is way too big.
ALSO, you should put up these links in the front post as inspiration
