The Meaning Of Our Existence and the Explanation of God.

    Read this article: http://www.fullmoon.nu/articles/art.php?id=tal

I am a believer of thistheory and have always been. It explains that God is Evolution in a sense and that only us can dictate where we go from now.
We can either become strong Christians, Buddhist ect. and not advance any more technologically, and therefore will be destroyed by a meteor on course with Earth. It also says that there was nno Jesus and this was misguided belief, which i have believed for a long time. However, if we continue as we are now, advancing constantly, we will be able to survive this Meteor and will have passed a "test". However this will be in the future, our nearest test is Nuclear Warheads. I am confident that there are in this day and age warheads capable of eliminating life. The test is, whether we, humans, destroy the Earth with our new knowledge. The convincing bit, and ironic bit, is that we will use this warhead knowledge, assuming we don't blow ourselves up in the process, to advance further. Then we will meet Genetic WArfare which will be another test. We will soon be able to manipulate DNA and control life, extending our lifetime considerably, as we will one day unravel the code in which it is made up of and so, eliminate every flaw in the human body and eradicate disease. Eventually, if we don't cause selfdestruction, we will reach level two, predicted to be a few centuries or milleniums ahead. Another test for us will be space travel, further unravelling the existence of the universe. Finally, our existence will reach God. We will become eternal and become God.

it explains why the dinosaurs were wiped out as we know they were. It was a comet and they were extinguished because they weren't evolving satisfyingly enough. They were evolving too predatory and even though they were developing teamwork (Velociraptors) they would become their own extinction, eating themselves. However humans were evolving nicely but the problem was, they couldn't survive the dinosaurs, and so God took a chance and eradicated the dinosaurs to let humans have a chance.

The article also explains how there are 14 million other civilisations who are more advanced than us, on level 2 because they have passed the other tests. The reason we can not join them yet, is because laterally, we haven't mastered space travel, but more intellectually, because we are not ready and can't be allowed to contaminate the more advanced ones. You may be thinking that is wrong, unjust and just like the Caste system of Hindus, but, it says noone is better than anyone else, just more intellectual and advanced. We must completely understood this before we can advance, and if we don't, we will kill ourselves.

The most contrversial thing is, in order to reach our final Goal, the meaning of Existence to become eternal and all knowing we must drop religion. Science is the path we must take and all beliefs in God being a supernatural being who can save us all must be forgotten. Ironically, it appears the HIndus were correct with Enlightenment, just wrong with the way to accomplish it, and worng with the "achieve it in a lifetime" thing.

But, there are things it does not explain. Such as, where did our initial God come from, are there more? It appears there will be more eventually, but how was the first ever God made. Maybe we will discover the answers to these "Unanswered Questions" as we, hopefully, advance. Still, it apparently explains why other beings haven't evolved like us and it is beacuse it is purely down to chance what happened to us. God started us off, but it was physics and the like which gave us life. A bit like an experiment God did, and one day we will be able to do as a whole. but then, what happens to US when we die, is it just like extinction, that's it, kaput, over? Just like when we sleep, but sleeping forever? Are we just stepping stones in life, helping it advance bit by bit? These are questions it, and every other theory of existence brings up. Maybe we'll discover the answer to this too, but not in our lifetime. We are doomed to not know and this is the worst thing in our life if you ask me.

ANywho, i have always believed mosto f this theory and it all seems to make sense, except the fact it's written by a prgrammer and is so like a game. Still, i'm a believer, what about you?

wow that basically questions everything i was taught. maybe the final "level" is to be gods. but its weird, if we mess-up then were screwed. but another thing, what happens when we die? but everything there made sense, like "other universes" and such.

lol the ending was funny tho.

    SA, you amaze me sometimes....

anyways, one thing i dont quite understand is...
how was he able to remember the entire conversation, to write it all out on the web?

i really like that theory... its beliveable... but... i just don't trust the programmer...

either way, its got me thinking of a lot of stuff...

--also, we shouldn't worry to much about this, we'll be dead by the time our species advances.. )

    Doesn't agree with me.

I don't think that guy was being entirely truthful when he typed out that article.

as for me, i'm a stout athiest. life in itself is nothing special, its just another part of the universe.

i guess i cant believe unless God comes on to me on a train 0_o

Surprise you why? With my 1337 sexiness? : P

And yeah of course the actual article itself is questionable, but the theory it proposes could be true.....

It just seems odd that we are here, on Earth, in the Milky Way, with soo much out there. Like i heard someone say a long time ago, "If there is nothing else out there, it seems like an awful lot of wasted space." Don't you agree?

And i agree, it sounds like a game, and becasue he's a programmer it probably is dodgy, still, we'll never know for sure. The only thing i, and i'm sure we all want to truly know, is what ahppens after? After our death, is it just complete nothing? Like when we sleep? Would it be like an neverending coma? All these questions, won't be answered in our lifetime for sure, so all we can do is wonder.....

it would suck if we just become nothing-ness, but we could also be reincarnated or maybe start over in another "universe" or maybe we all come back to like after Mario gets the golden 1-up mushroom from Bowser
