    Déja Vu

What is it? I have one theory, and it is this:

There are multiple existences, parallel universes, if you will. A myriad of them. I think déja vu is just when your life in this existence and another get so similar to each other, that eventually, they merge for just a second or two, then go their seperate ways again, and this gives you a strange sense of... Well, déja vu.

I made this picture to show how it works:

Another theory, one more commonly believed, goes like this:

There is a slight delay between you seeing it and your brain registering you've seen it. I don't really get it, but that's what my dad says, lol.

It happens to me a decent amount. I will see something and think, "Wow! This scene has occurred to me before!". Your theories are both possible, I think. But your dad's reasoning sounds a little more scientific and may be backed up with research. I don't understand it much either, but I get the idea.

Suppose you see something, and for some odd reason your brain missed that you actually had seen it. A half-second later, your brain figures out what it saw.

I actually think that I've seen it, and it's occurring again. Or I've had a dream about it, and it occurs in the future for the first time. Like a psychic not being able to use his "future-seeing" powers for any good use...

Well, I think that diagram is bullshizzle. deja vu, IMO, is caused when you remember something from your dreams the night/nights before that is a bit similar to what happened, and your mind warps its little rememberance of it into what's seen by you at the moment.

People aren't "psychic", that's just another human "we r awsoem" misconception that we have some sort of weird control just because we're living. Sort of hard to describe in much more detail.

i have deja-vu 3 times each week so i can understand your theory.

the thing is i only got deja vu alot after getting knocked out at the age of 7.
then i would wake and record my dream.

so far my deja vu log is almost completly full.
