    Clones....Dare we?

Clones. So far we have clone cats and such but what about people? I think we shouldn't beacuse we have no idea of the outcoume. Perhaps they form with no kidneys and die? What if they are crazy and kill everyone? What if they take over the world?(lol) What if?

Its not of matter of, could we? i am sure we can.

Its not a matter of, can we? no beacuse its against the law.

Its a matter of should we. Should We???? NO!

Ok, they could do all thoose things and we already have 6Billion population. Estimated, in 60 years that will be doubled. We cant afford more. We cant afford the costs and riots. Millions would protest, Thousands would clone themself only to find ou that the clone will kill them? So,

    SHOULD WE?

It's a bad idea. The whole idea of it seems weird. If people plan to use it to remake people it won't happen like that because their personality won't be the same as the original. Heck, he might hate ya. No one should go to this because of the strange thoughts of having a copy of yourself walking breathing and talking...

First of all, the clone wouldn't kill them. It would either be a free thinking being, or it would have mentalr etardation. Alot of your stuff is un-comment worthy because it's biased and un realistic, but the topic is too inportant to pass on by. My church hasn't taken a stance on cloning, but I think until we can perfect the process (creating perfect animals, without medical problems) it shouldn't be tried. And cloning is next to useless anyways (if you discount stem cell research) because it creates a look-a-like being, with a completely different personality. Why not have a kid? The onyl reason we would possibly clone would be for an army, but cloning takes too much time and effort (not to mention tax dollars) to be mass produced. IN other words, utterly worthless in almost every sense.

Yes. Unless you can predict a war in 20 years and have lodgings for over 100,000 look-a-like teenagers... That do have feelings, personality and most likely know what's going on...

If it's some guy who is willingly doing it for whatever amount of money, i think its fine. Personally, i think its already been tested illegally but hasnt been yet revealed to the public.

Clones are basically the exact same thing as twins, just not born at the same time. (My science teacher told us about this stuff awhile back.)

Clones are just a human whose DNA has been replaced with someone else's.
So, while the baby is still developing, they would give it the DNA of the person whom would want to be cloned. Of course clones would be free thinkers, as are twins, since they are almost the exact same thing.

    My opinion on cloning.

Think of the clones aspect. Lets take an average guy named Bob. Okay, Bob was walking to work one day and tripped and fell on a spear jutting out of the sidewalk. The spear went through his heart. He will die unless he gets a new heart. :]) Poor Bob :]) Anyway... So the solution is to take a clone named Joe, kill him, take out his heart and give it to Bob. :]) Poor Joe :]) So now Bob lives but Joe is dead. Where is the fairness in that. Bob should have seen the spear and made sure to be careful, why should Joe die for Bob's idocy?

What in the world was a spear doing sticking out of the sidewalk? wa_)( J/k )

But yea, I know what your saying, and it would be unfair to do that, but I think that with their cloning technology, they can now grow organs just by them selfs without the host person. Like the could grow a new heart for Bob without making a whole clone. Although I don't think that they can grow hearts yet, just livers or something. I read this is a popular science.

Yeah, but that is exactly cloning, that is more in the stem cell research area, making certain organs from stem cells. I classify cloning as making a new person.

Oh, and havent you seen those spears in the road, oh wait, you live in poland, right?, they should be javelins there.
