    demo of a game im making (COMMENT NAO OR I'LL EAT YOU >:c )

    sup DD, i don't post much but w/e,here's a demo of a game im working on ;D

    i know it's simple and fairly easy but it does get harder in the full version

    Hmm, a nice start but the collision detection is really iffy, seems like you're checking it from its bounding box - look up some accurate collision detection methods. The fps rate was a little annoying, maybe up it a bit? The level graphics are a bit simple, but it's a nice base to a game, keep it up.

    Oh by the way, here's some links I found useful for learning different types of collision detection:

    Things to fix:

    -Collision detection for obstacles.
    - FPS, please, above 18.
    - Graphics, Backgrounds, main character could be an MC

    I can also give you the script that removes the the "Right-click-forward" cheat that lets you skip levels.

    Also, use some bigger levels, if you .root the v-cam with your player MC, the camera follows the MC around, meaning you can have huge enviorments.

    When making a game you should always have your fps at 30 or around.
    Nothing original about your game, been done millions time before.
    And please use a more complex collision system than just a hittest().

    Actually, hitTest works very, very well in terms of speed and simplicity. Sure, you can use complex lag-full pixel-perfect trigonometry based collision systems, but why? Just needs a bit more accuracy.

    he uses a ball.
    Balls aren't limited by corners the box, which is the main point of the hitest.
    And, simple math collision= not laggy as you think.

    To the op, think of something completely new that you can add to this game.

    One last thing, the balls move by way too much frame.
    (Assuming that the later version will be at least at 26fps)

    Oh shit lol, forgot it was just a circle when posting that, I remembered it as a different object :3 true, distance based for circles is very fast.

    Anyways, back on topic, are you going to be updating this soon, js?
