yeah good job at giving this guy tips guys.

as far as i can tell, you're really new. like really new.

firstly, and this is just a minor gripe, dont put a preloader on something this basic. you only need to put a preloader on something where the .swf file is like 3 megs.

another thing, i can tell you're using a mouse, so i can't really suggest that you don't do stickfigures, but one thing you can do is learn how to make the brush size smaller. also, to add a grid that you can use whilst animating, press ctrl+# when the animation is open.

other than that, i can only really tell you that you should be spending a lot longer on the frames and actually put some thought in before you start animating, if you want to make something worth watching.

    Yeah, Bert rocks.

The beams and effects weren't great, but, add more frames and try to make the ball or energy thing smoother. You can right-click the object and make it smooth so it won't have super jaggy edges or just look... smooth.

You need to play around with flash a little more and develope proper stick builds and animations techniques. I'd reccomend any tutorial on proper stick creation, and just take time in your animation. Thats what it really comes down too. Add in detail too.
Thanks for the tips. You really helped me out there.
