    Flashies - Enay

Helloooo, just got Flash today. I'll probably stop pivoting because pivoting takes so much fucking time to do and Flash is just a lot funner.

    [center:38zkf1fo]Punch Kick Punch[/center:38zkf1fo]
I went and watched a stone tutorial where he animated the head first, then animated the legs, then lastly the arms, so I did that. Turned out heaps better.

    [center:38zkf1fo]Moves Test[/center:38zkf1fo]
Tried to use the line tool this time, bit easier, bit better. Also added motion-blur-kind-of-thing.

    [center:38zkf1fo]Kablooie[/center:38zkf1fo]
I wasn't sure how to animate an explosion... so I didn't. One day though.

    [center:38zkf1fo]Small Run[/center:38zkf1fo]
Watched a tutorial by Hyun which taught things like the grid and adding the head afterwards and other stuff, then made this. Good IMO.

    [center:38zkf1fo]First Flash[/center:38zkf1fo]
Made this as soon as I got Flash. I just tried to use basic pivot rules like easing, then added in a blast and weird dissapearing thing. Didn't watch any tutorials.

I'm going to keep watching tutorials to get the basics down, then I'll do something longer.

    Updating, made another.

    Kablooie

I wasn't sure how to animate an explosion... so I didn't. One day though. There's a kind of drought when it comes to tuts for this program :\

And I still dont know how to add blurs and things.

At least you kept stick size consistent thats a good start. Work on your effects and overall animation and you will improve quickly.

Tried to use the line tool this time, bit easier, bit better. Also added motion-blur-kind-of-thing by selecting the attacking limb, converting it to a movie clip symbol, adding a drop shadow from the direction it's moving for 3 frames with the distance of the drop shadow going 5,3,1. Is there a better way to do it?

With the movie clip selected, on the bottom menu click filters. Then add blur.

Pretty decent animatinos considering they're your first.
