    Laser Test?

    Slower

    Faster

I like both speeds, but I want to know which one looks better.

In your opinion, which speed makes the anim look better?

Wow, that is pretty awesome. I like the faster one, it seems more Flash-like.

    Meh, it's good.
It could be alot better though, just by doing some simple stuff.

1: The rings need to originate from the beam, not just appear out of nowhere. Just put some white fills over the the first ones to make it grow out of something.
    Example:
    GIF - PIV
I whipped this up real quick to show ya. It's uber-simple, but it would improve your effects.

    2. The circles coming out of the beam are good, but they're just circles. Try to make "organic" particles with an imperfect look.

    3. The circles also kinda just appeared far from the blaster, then eased and moved. Try to make lines or something, then particles.

All of that should only take a few minutes to do, but it would make it look great.
