    Smoke/splosion

I haven't made any sort of effects in a very, very long time. And I wasn't good at them in the first place. Oh well, here's some sort of smokey/splosion test.

Not much detail or anything, just trying to get a feel for it again.
.gif kinda crapped it up too.

Lol, I'm not dumb it's supposed to be like that. Spelled shouldn't be capitalized in your post btw. Maybe a more detailed criticism that "cool?"...

    Well ok...
I can't realy think of much all i can see is that the guy stays in the air to long when he is running and when the explosion at the end happends the corners are not rounded enough..

Well, at first glance it looked pretty fine, but then I noticed that when the smoke had first been shot out of the cannonthing, it seemed to be moving up howevermany pixels, when it should be actually distorting and becoming bigger. Also, the guy running stayed in the air for a strange amount of time and was in a weird position.
I realise this is probably your first proper effect in a while, and you did pretty good for this one, well done.

Well, since two people commented on it he wasn't really supposed to be properly running, he was just kind of, skipping or something. I thought the drifting and distorting looked ok but I guess you're right it shouldn't be drifting, thanks.
