    Steve's freestyle thread- shitty moves

    Just some shitty moves again





    nothing special, just put this together quickly as a sword movement test. I think the spacing could of been done alot better, but meh, fuck editing.

    Do I look like someone who has ever given two fucks about foot placement? There are so many other more important aspects of animating to think about, foot placement isn't even an important animation principle.

    I dunno about that. Specific foot placement on this kind of shit can really add some spice. I tend to make the feet slide around a bit. Looks good.

    Anyway, pretty cool animation. The poses are whack as fuck, and as I said in my personal opinion trails take away from sword animations. I'm not going to take the time, but if you were to remove those trails I bet the sword movements wouldn't look as slick. I may be wrong, though

    actually...keeping the feet in place keeps the animation from looking jerky

    Actually apart from that last swing it looks pretty good with no trails. Thanks for the comment.

    nice animation but there were 2 things wrong. well the foot placement was very bad, and then the arm swinging just stopped suddenly.

    That base looks awfully familiar to the one I used to use.

    Anyway both those animations were cool, just some iffy poses here and there.
