    I kind of like the effect I suppose. But the run seemed really... awkward? And why did the guy who punched freeze? Is that part of the effect?

    no i just was lazy
    and the run seemed awkward? why? too slow or just weird?

    There is no vertical origin movement. And the front leg should stretch further in a run.

    The speed is really up to the animator. But the back needs to be angled alittle more, and the legs should extend more. Here is an example of how I animate a run, aswell as a few other people. This technique is only 4 frames long and looks pretty well.
