    PSP Skin Question

Not many people visit the help center so I posted this here.
I might be getting a skin or a faceplate for my new psp. I was wondering though, does anyone have a skin or a faceplate for theres? If you have a skin, can you please take a picture of it, and tell me how hard/easy it was to put on and if it was a good deal. If you have a faceplate, can you take a picture and tell me how easy/hard it was to put on also. I would highly appreciate it, thanks.

I tried to take mine apart, its the hardest thing in the world.

the screws inside where the battery are are so small and soft if you unscrew them too hard they deform and then your screwdriver won't grip them properly and you can't get it open at all.

its cause the psp runs on pandora's box and to open it would destroy the world.

I've heard rumors that the PS3 runs on similar technology. Sony may be on to something here.

And I don't have a PSP, much less one I've re-faced, but I've heard from lots of places that it's no fun at all.
If you're really wanting a skin, you should probably just buy one of those stick-on ones instead. You could probably get one for a few bucks at wal-mart (or wherever you usually shop)

After trying to fix my jammed r button by myself by opening up my psp, I can safely agree with bert that opening your psp will result in total hell. Bert hit the nail on the head. Everything is so delicate if you move a little bit too fast your psp is screwed.

So I wouldn't recommend doing anything that involves taking off your psp's shell.

Alright well my friend got a skin, he said it was pretty easy and if you mess up a few times, you can just take it off, and redo it without it loosing it's "stick". I will probably just get a skin, they are $10.00, the faceplates however are $15-$30.00. Anyone else have anything to say?

i got a series of stickers but they sucked, left all glue on my psp, had to scrub it clean.

if you're getting stickers make sure you get super high quality ones.

With this case I ahve you can just print skins out for it and slide it under the case.

I wouldnt go as far as to take the thing apart, or stick shit to it though.

i didn't put a skin on mine, i find they sort of make it harder to tap the buttons because the skin is the same level as the buttons.
