The most amazing game series ...

What do you think the most amazing game series for any system is? I think probably the Metal Gear Solid series. All the game's had good story lines and game play, overall really good impressive games, even though the graphics for some of them sucked balls. But number 3, snake eater, was pretty amazing.. and number 4 is coming out for the ps3, Guns of the patriots, That's supposed to be amazing to, What do you guy's think?

Final Fantasy. Each game (for the most part) is a completely different experience than the last, which is a good thing.

Other than that, the whole Metal Gear "saga". I've played every one since Metal Gear for my NES, and albeit, they're fun, but they're all pretty much the same. The only reason your abilities and such change in the game is that they've gotten new graphics platforms. I'm sure if the NES could support FPS shooting, you'd be able to do it. Final Fantasy does innovations that have nothing to do with graphics :O

    SONIC LOL
    >_> i like those for real cause i grew up with them, they all have the same basis sorta but for the most aprt they always develop some part of the story and such.
even in the comics (yes i own like 200 sonic comics D
but since that genre and more >_> sega is dying then id have to go with for me personally
Mario titles, from Zelda, Mario, and Metriod
those are mostly my favourites because all the story is different gameplay is usually the same but also differed each game, with weapons and levels and such
i love the style of the gameplay and openess and thats why i feel they are the best series >_>
