    Audiosurf

Anyone played it? I first heard about it a few weeks back and took part in some beta testing. It's essentially a rhythm game, but you don't need rhythm.

    Huh?

Well, you direct the game to a song file (OGG, MP3, FLAC, even iTunes files!). It then analyzes the song, reads different sounds in it, the tempo in areas, where it is loud vs. quiet, etc. Finally, you play, well, the song you just chose. It bounces to the tempo, goes uphill for slow parts, downhill for fast parts, and you basically collect colored "blocks" along the way. With these blocks, you must match a certain color up, 3 in a row. The blocks are deleted and you get a score. You get a higher score for more blocks collected.

I can't describe it very well. All in all, it's a great puzzle/rhythm hybrid. I'd strongly recommend checking it out. It's on Steam for a measly $10.

Want a sig like the one above? I am taking requests in my thread here...

Yeah, definitely a musty-buy for anyone who has a large music library. Here's a video to show what it looks like in-game.

Very clever and fun. Raining Blood was difficult on it though.

    Looks epic...

Would be a fun game to play but I don't have any way of getting it (plus the fact it won't work on my computer).
