    Guitar hero mod

My fried was selling his PS2 and was going to throw a way a "broken" guitar hero controller(the part where you attach the strap was missing), so i decided to salvage it and play around with it.

From what i've read and now seen the pcb layout of the controller was generally simple, so with my limited knowledge of circuitry i opened it up and played around with it.
The first thing i did was made a button that all it does is hold down the green button because through the fire and flames is damn near impossible.

After that i got a bit more confident and added a switch so you don't have to strum, not very practical but probably the most difficult mod i did.

and just for the bucket head fans i added a working killswitch that actually is fun to use on jordan.

All in all not too advanced or hard but very fun to do, so tell me what you think of it.
Also i didn't put those stickers on there in case you were wondering.
Can we hit it and quit it?

Im sixteen and it's really not too bad, but yea wammys are a huge hassel sometimes, mostly on the ps2, but they can often be fixed with some innovative uses of orthodonic rubber bands. But definitely i would check it out if you have an extra one or an sg controller because they're the cheapest and most mod friendly right now.

That's really cool man, I'd love it if I didn't have to strum.

Could you make a tutorial or something?

Yeah, that's a pretty great mod you got on there.

I honestly have no understanding of technology (Modding guitars = wtf?) so I'm quite impressed. Good job.
