    Boot up problem

Well, every time I boot up my computer, my monitor, must not be able to take it or something.
    I boot it up
All of a sudden, I hear the beep from the somputer itself.
I don't see anything, so I put in a different monitor, it had some stupid boot up error.
But the prob is, I can see it on the other monitor, a lower tech older monitor, but I can't on my 500$ one. :\
    ANyone know anything?

well, it's not a computer problem, check your monitor warranty and see if they cover this

The indication something is wrong is the beep it normally means theres a hardware issue, though sometimes it can because of bad drivers.

Beeping can also be linked the the Motherboard failing to POST or whatever they call it, usually the amount of beeps indicates the problem.

Ya but in his case its linked to a monitor fault least from what hes posted. I suggest booting into safe mode and having alook around to double check its not bad drivers.

Also if you have a spare machine test out the monitor which doesn't work on it to see if you get the same results.

Most likely drivers. If your computer came with a manual and you still have it, it may have a motherboard section. Go there and see what's up because that's where the beep comes from.
