    Question.

Are there any games where you fight just bosses?

I know about Shadow of the Colossus, i was curious if anyone knew any other games similar to it.

Doesn't matter how old it is, I don't care if its even a NES game.

At the moment, the only game I come up with is punchout for some reason.

    Re: Question.

There aren't really that many boss-only games out there, esecually nowadays, although if you go back to side scrollers and vertical scrollers (in a little rocket ship kind of thing) in the arcade decades, you're bound to find games with lots of bosses, not necessarily on their own, but there usually are quite a few. Some games I'd recommend are Blazing Star, (Neo•Geo, :s) and Metal Slug 1-6. That isn't a game where you're entirely in a tank/ship, but there are a few vehicles to utilize. The bosses in Metal Slug, dare I say, are quite big and powerful, especially for it's time. It although it is an arcade game, the sprites are pretty damn good.

Hope that helped, I'm not the best at finding games.

Thanks. I was also looking for a certain game, I'm almost 100% sure it was for sega genesis. You flew down tunnels and I'm quite sure it was a boss-only game. I remember enjoying it as a kid and I was wondering if anyone has played this game and remembers what it's called. Thanks guys.

Are you thinking of panzer dragoon? Theres a lot of bosses in that game, but I remember a bit of regular enemies, but yeah, you fly around and stuff, it's a pretty cool game

    Re: Question.

Some of the fights in Prince of Persia you can end before they even start.
Plus most of the game is boring; collecting orbs so you can unlock a place to collect more orbs etc. I hear Prototype has one intensely hard boss at the end, but the rest I think you can do easily. You could try Final Fantasy, some boring stuff, but some tactical thinking for the bosses. Sonic as well as mario games have fun boss fights too.

I've mostly mentioned games that have bosses but they're not entirely bosses, but look at some trailers and see what you can find.

That game is so monotonously boring it's unreal.

I have an idea, buy STALKER SoC and put the difficulty up to max. Every person is like a boss then.

    MGSPO

You can just fight bosses in that, hard on higher difficulties though.
