    WindowsBlinds

Awesome utility right here. Basically, it lets you "skin" your windows.

It works with XP and Vista.

Post any skins you think are good, or just have a chat about the program itself.
I myself found these two themes, they look very nice, imo.

Prolongs PC start up times and lags overall speed.

I'll stick with visual styles, thanks.

Window's blinds is okay, but most people tend to use custom visual styles. While some of the ones you listed are pretty and all, they can easily be implemented as an .msstyle.

Even then, it's easier to use Tuneup Utilities and get the whole "customization" with improved performance and a few other useful things. Windowblinds is shit.

    Re: WindowsBlinds

Windows blinds is really easy to use and it all looks very nice, but it all boils down to degrading speed. Custom visual styles work better as has been stated.

Although stardock does have other products that work very nicely. Generally a good company.

I find visualstyles easier and faster to use. My computer starts at 44 seconds but w/ windows blinds it starts in 1:09.

I had this for a while. I loved it.
But when the trial expired it totally fucked up my theme.

After the trial it keeps reminding me to buy it when I start up my comp.
    fucking annoying.

    Re: WindowsBlinds

I used to use it back in my old had-no-clue-about-the-world-or-the-internet days. Now it seems like a huge pile of crap to me, visual styles are much better and much more efficient.
