Totally annihilates the newer ATI 5000 series. Only thing I'm not looking forward to is the price.

Whatever the price is, it's probably going to make me sit in a corner and cry for 3-4 hours.

    Ho-ly-shit.

Also why was he talking about the infa red doo-hicky, I get that it strings them all together, but is this only available to do with the 480?

The infrared box controls the depth of the image, it's a small scroller that you can adjust. It also tracks head movement. A friend of mine recently purchased a 3D display with the exact same Nvidea glasses and infrared control. It's visually stunning on Modern Warfare 2. You can already buy the 3D setups right now.

120? Oh well. Does it work better on more monitors?

That price isn't including a 3D monitor you need a monitor and a kit to use it (along with a graphic card that supports it). My friend got a 22 inch 3D monitor plus that kit and it looked great on just the one. I believe it was around 300 + due to a special deal.
