    Alan Wake

Since it came out for NA and EU already, I've decided to bring up this topic again.
Mind you, I don't have it quite yet, but I'll definitely have it in the next couple of days.

In the meantime.. Overall favourable reviews, but nothing amazing.

    Gamespot: 8.5/10
    IGN: 9/10
    Eurogamer: 7/10

I won't take their word for it though, I'm still getting it :P

I watched the trailer and it looks like an old game. Seems like it was designed for the PS2, but with graphics up to par with current-gen games. Definitely looks like a good play.

This game looks really cool, the idea, destroying dark with light, is a favorite. Going to get it soon, hopefully.

    Re: Alan Wake

Alright so I just beat it, it was fucking amazing, although the action leading up to the ending was a tad disappointing I think the ending was fantastic. Overall the game managed to keep me interested the whole way through, this game has wowed me in the same way that Max Payne did in 2001.

The soundtrack pretty much owns Heavy Rain, some of the best music (orchestral and non-orchestral) I've ever listened to. The story is terrific, although hard to make sense of it at first, the story unfolds with the conclusion of each 'episode' and that's something I really enjoyed.
