    Retro games

So I just went out and got one of the old N64 consoles, and holy shit. Those games still rule. Mario, SSB, Zelda, Theyre just as fun now as they were when I was a kid.

Anyone else here into the retro stuff?

E: Now the original pokemon games are my current obsession. Anyone else for em?

It still pains me a bit inside when someone refers to the Nintendo 64 as retro or old school. I can't believe how long it's been since then.

My NES and SNES broke a while ago, so I'm stuck playing the games from them on [s:1wxp9dmk]emulators[/s:1wxp9dmk] the ones re-released on Gamecube or something.

I've been replaying through all sorts of old games (see screenshot thread). I'm almost done with final fantasy 6, it's probably the best turn-based game I've ever played, next to legend of dragoon.

Mega Man, and SMB does it for me. And me and some friends played some Super Mario World on the SNES last week, pretty epic.

That game was fucking amazing. I remember the one mode where you were a T-rex and everyone else had to be cavemen and you could pull out the huge bombs. I used to play that and supersmash brothers for hours on end.

If you don't know the guy on the other side of the world, love him anyway because he's just like you. He has the same dreams, the same hopes and fears. It's one world, pal. We're all neighbors.
