    Mechanical Keyboards

I recently purchased a Das Ultimate with Cherry MX Blue switches for $113 off of Amazon and I absolutely love it. It's significantly improved my typing as well as my love for typing and it's a very worthwhile investment. I'm enjoying every keystroke when I'm typing this and has made me look forward to writing papers.

These keyboards sound, feel, and look sexy as fuck like that chick on my mind when I'm rubbing one off. Does anyone else own one, and do you have some sick modifications that turn these pretty things into supermodels?

Some problems I've observed with my keyboard are the keys that have the stabilizers on them. On my spacebar specifically, the key sometimes doesn't pop back up completely and makes the next stroke slightly less satisfying to press. They also have a tendency to be screechy which can be quite annoying.

You can get these dirt cheap at www.mechanicalkeyboards.com. I had a razer blackwidow, didn't really like it. Got a ducky tenkeyless keyboard with brown switches and I love it.

I got a Black Widow for cheap price when my old keyboard broke down. It's my first mechanical keyboard and I like the feel to it.

Not using much of those macros though.

I still have my black widow. It's nice, but I'd totally rather have a Das or one of these, mainly because they have N key rollover and I could see that being useful in many situations.
Stripes would be good camouflage, if tigers weren't bright orange.
The turtle is one part fortress, one part... mobile home.
    I love honey, but bees..
emanating fire really cuts down on cozy nest options.

I know peoples will say it depends on the type of computer person you have, but seeing how cheap these things are I see no reason not to get one.

Typing feels so much better with it.

I don't want to be offensive, but paying that much for a simple designed keyboard just seems kinda stupid to me. Mechanical keyboards are not special and you can buy a very decent one for half the price you paid.
And about the problem you have, if I would buy such an expensive keyboard and one of my keys would get stuck at times I would seriously want my money back.

I'm using this one for over 2 years now and I think it was about 40,-
