Help with a custom build PC (Parts Ordered)

[s:1xeh17ry]Greetings Darkdemon. I am looking into building a gaming PC, and I've got most the parts picked out thanks to the help of my homo friend Dave.

But, before I order the parts and have them shipped to me, I thought I'd try to get some insight from some people who are more PC suave then I. This is currently what I'm looking at:[/s:1xeh17ry]

The parts have been ordered, now I'm just waiting for them to arrive before I start the build. the overall cost was $1,940.65 AUD, postage and handling included ($1,680 without postage and handling).

    Mother Board:
    ASRock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional Motherboard

    RAM:
    Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M2A1600C10 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3

    Optical Drive:
    LG GH24NS95 24x SATA DVD-RW Drive OEM

    Processor:
    Intel Core i5 3570

    Graphics:
Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 GHz Edition 3GB

    Hard Drive:
    Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
    Intel 520 Series 60GB SSD

    Power Supply:
Corsair HX-750 V2 80 PLUS Gold Power Supply

    CPU Fan:
    Noctua NH-U12P SE2

    Case:
Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 Case

[s:1xeh17ry]My budget is $2,500 (AUD), and my current price now is looking at roughly $1,800 postage and handling included. Anything missing/needs to be changed/could be added?[/s:1xeh17ry]

Re: Help with a custom build PC

Considering you've got an extra 400 dollars to spend and already have more than enough power to support it with your supply, you could consider overclocking an i7 for some super ridiculous power. But that's kinda overkill in my opinion.

To be honest your current build is looking perfect man and you'll be able to run pretty much anything maxed out on that. Also thanks for showing me a good Aussie site to get parts from.

Just did a double check and it's actually going to cost me close to $2,200 postage and handling included.

Well it turns out the Motherboard I was planning on getting is no longer available. Any suggestions for a replacement?

I thought you did 3d work?

An i7 would definitely benefit your render speeds.

No I don't do 3D work, I just want a good gaming PC.

I, myself, have never built a PC, nor do I know all that much about doing so, but r/BuildAPC is full of wiz-kids that would like to help you out. Just a suggestion.
