Just review games really, people can come here to see what's good, rather than trawling the Steam store for hours. I personally have nothing for now, but I'm sure you guys have something.

I'm on a tablet right now, so forms are too difficult, but I would definitely recommend Portal 2, Terraria, Bastion, Mark of the Ninja and maybe Civilization if that's your kind of thing.

Also, I can't speak for certain, but probably Spelunky. I haven't played it yet, but seen many, many hours of gameplay and I will be playing it diehard when it comes out on Steam next week.

Edit; I've also been having fun with Rogue Legacy lately.

    Game: Gothic
    Genre: Action/RPG/TPP/Fantasy --- Open-World
    Price: 19,99€ on Steam
    OS: Windows 98/XP/7/8
    Multiplayer: No
Play Time: Depends on your skill. Some people finish it in 9 days, some in 12, some in 3.
    Overall Rating: 9+/10

Game: Gothic II (+ The Night of the Raven DLC)
    Genre: Action/RPG/TPP/Fantasy --- Open-World
    Price: 9,99€ on Steam
    OS: Windows 98/XP/7/8
Multiplayer: Officialy - no. However there is a multiplayer made by a Polish community, and it's completely free to download. Features English, Polish and Russian servers.
Play Time: Yet again, depends on your skill. I've heard someone finished it in 1 day... if it's even possible :P
Overall Rating: 10/10 (Night of The Raven - 10/10).

    Game: Gothic 3
    Genre: Action/RPG/TPP/Fantasy --- Open-World
    Price: 9,99€ on Steam
    OS: Windows XP/7/8
    Multiplayer: No.
Play Time: Yet again depends on your skill, but this game actually features a difficulty level you can set at the start of the game and in the options menu (Gothic I, II and The Night of the Raven didn't have that... but i still like them the most, 'cause they're a challenge :])
    Overall Rating: 8/10

Gothic: Universe (Features Gothic I, II (without the DLC) and III) for 19,99€ on Steam.

Gothic series was actually the ''game of my childhood''... Have it on my PC 'till this day

However, the new ''ArcaniA'' which was supposed to be ''Gothic 4'' and the DLC for Gothic 3 - ''The Forsaken Gods'' are complete crap. Don't even bother buying them. ArcaniA is not Open-World at all, the quests are boring, and there isn't many items in the game. The diffuclty is childish aswell... The Forsaken Gods DLC just has a good amount of bugs...

    Game: The Witcher
    Genre: Action/TPP/RPG/Fantasy --- Kind of Open-World
    Price: 7,99€ on Steam
OS: Windows XP/7/8 (might also work on Linux and Mac)
    Multiplayer: No.
Play Time: A good amount of hours, trust me
    Overall Rating: 8/10.

Game: The Witcher 2: Assassin's Of Kings
    Genre: Action/RPG/TPP/Fantasy --- Kind of Open-World
    Price: 19,99€ on Steam
    OS: Windows XP/7/8
    Multiplayer: No.
Play Time: Many, many hours. Depends on the difficulty level you choose, and the skill you have, of course
    Overall Rating: 9+/10

Both games are brilliant, and i can't wait for Witcher 3 - The Wild Hunt which will be Open-World!
