Two completely shitty songs combined into one? Felt like my ears were being raped.

    Pretty funny coincidence though.

I think both songs were written by the same producer. They all use the same loops and shit.
But, I must say, I like the beat to both songs.

    Correctamundo my main man.

Taken from the California Gurls wiki entry:

    and the Tik Tok entry:

In my opinion, it really couldn't be a coincidence that both songs are exactly the same. Especially when both of them were released so closely to one another, and they both reached number one singles in the US. It's a goddamn ploy from the music industry. It's like that Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel picture. "The universe liked what it had created so much, it decided to create another."

It's a blatant copyover, but since it's the same producers/writers they are allowed to.

Popular music is crap like that.

Talk about weak production. But that's mainstream pop for you.

Man, I'd nail Katey Perry so hard.

When I haerd California Gurls playing on the radio, I thought the same thing. Shows how creative our mainstream pop industry is today... I'll stick with The Black Keys, thank you very much.
