    Just starting...

I used to make flipbooks as a kid, and used an old PC software program called Deluxe Paint Animation where you would basically annimate pixel by pixel.

I kinda left all that behind as I grew up, but now I'm nearly 40 and thought I'd revive that old childhood dream.

So, here are my first two attempts at animation. I'm using Adobe After Effects for the animation and have just recently got myself a Wacom graphic tablet so I can create a more freehand style in Illustrator.

I'd love to hear some feedback from other animators!

I support your decision. Realization of a childhood dream is a very takes courage, great decision. Everyone will be watching cartoons as a child, but not everyone wanted to be a cartoonist, but not everyone can remember a childhood dream.
