    Thrice

Great band. Any one agree? Tell some stories if you have any, or just share your "positive" thoughts.

There was alrady a Thrice thread....

They pretty much own, Beltsville Cruciable, To Awake and Avenge the Dead, and Betrayal is a Symptom are my favorite songs.
=Those inflatable globes are dangerous, sent several people to hospital with one. Just another proof that RE is not only wrong, but deadly!
    Another victory for FE!
    EARTH IS FLAT!

I was listening to them before they were even popular. :P And yeah, I have a story. The song "don't tell and we won't ask" is apparently a song about murder, and getting away with it. But me and a friend have this theory that it's actually about abortion. : O

    Okey dokey lyric analysis get.

    "never work without your gloves
    if you're a smart kid
you'll stay the hell away from love"

    That suggests contraception. CONDOMS NUB.

with all the ghosts of lesser humans
whose lives you've spilt to suit your own

"Lesser humans" suggests a baby not being considered a "proper" human, as is the debate going on today with the catholic church and whatever.

don't we all know we bleed the same red blood?

That's easy enough, you get what I'm driving at.

Favourite songs: red sky, under a killing moon, t&c, send me an angel and deadbolt. The artist in the ambulance is definately the best album, although the illusion of safety is the better choice for people who like more "obvious" songs. NEVER BUY IF ONLY WE COULD SEE US NOW. IT SUX. End.

Their only worthwhile contribution was Vheissu, I think. But I'm sure most of you will disagree.

Not really. They won a load of awards for that album because it was so original. Red Sky and The Earth Will Shake were feckin' unreal.

I don't think it was their ONLY worthwhile contribution, but it was definatly one of the best. The whole album has a fresh sound.
