It would make more sense to get lessons from an actual person, and pay for them.

And its almost impossible to become good very quickly.
It really go me mad when I first started too, I've always been able to try something and be able to do it, and do it well, right away. With guitar its different, while its shouldn't take too long to learn songs once you learn a few scales, like together, Day Tripper by the Beatles and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd took me about 20 minutes to learn. But once you start, you can't stop. It doesn't matter if you're tired, or if you're fingers bleed, doubt you'll get to that point though, only happened to me once and it was pretty cool.

You just have to keep playing the same thing over and over and over and over, It also depends on what you want to play, I prefer the Blues. Some people try to go in right away and, and I'm quoting my cousin here, "Kick out the Jams and Rock."

If you want to play rhythm or lead, lead, while more celebrated, calls for more work, and sometimes its harder, while rhythm calls for consistency and can be real hard as well, try changing from a barred E7 on 3 to a C on 2. Its not pretty.

In all good luck and work at it.

Be patient. Being good at an instrument does not come instantly. Get proper lessons.

Waste of money if you're not prepared to apply yourself to it.

It would not be a great idea to try to learn from online lessons. You should wait till you get your guitar and then start lessons because a good guitar teacher can teach you mch more then an online guitar lesson.

Get an Acoustic guitar first, Electric is pointless at first. Because then if you don't like it, you've wasted hundreds of pounds/dollars whatever it is for you.

I don't think you should buy an acoustic if thats not what you want, but if your just starting out try to buy one of the cheaper electric guitars .

    You can't be good fast

    You can be either be

    kindda rubbish - fast
    Awesome - Slowly

Don't be in such a hurry. All the instruments take their time to learn. Even way more to master
