    Children of Bodom

Somehow screaming is not my style, but somehow I got into that band.
They have few good songs. My personal favorites:
    Mask of Sanity.
touch like an angel of death
    and
that fear of the dark cover.

I can't really tell the kind, maybe Melodic death metal can fit them well.

They're classified as black metal. Although I'd put them down more as a cross between melodeath and power metal. Baha and his genres, oh the times. :C

Anyway. >_> I have all their stuff, kinda stopped listening to them after a while because laiho's voice is a bit too harsh for my liking. The music is unreal of course, that goes without question. Favourites would be silent night bodom night, trashed lost and strung out and lake bodom.

Yes, I like them, I liked them a lot more a few months ago, but they're still good.

Got Hatebreeder off of iTunes in an attempt to "Broaden" my metal horizons, and well, was not a huge fan. They're not bad, but they sound too happy for metal with the very heavy power-metal influences, that, in my opinion, take away from the band.

Also, Alexi Laiho (SP?) is not the god many claim. He's above-par, but not spectacular. Also, he dissed on my homeboys, Dream Theater. No way I'm letting that slide.

Want a sig like the one above? I am taking requests in my thread here...

I like them, but theyre trying too hard to be super special awesome agressive death band scene riders, which they arent really. Other than their failed attempts at 1337-ness image-wise, their music is pretty good.

no im serious, according to the metal anthology, AND recent polls on metal forums There is some contention regarding the band's genre classification, but in general the band's musical style can be described as a cross between power metal and melodic death metal. Otherwise Known as Thrash Metal. but yes, megadeath is thrash metal =D
