    Carnal Forge

    Uh... melodic death metal.

Was wondering does anyone listen to them/have any thoughts on them. I heard them on a metal hammer compilation one day, playing a re-record of burning eden, which you can watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8xhw0KvDgg

That's the only video they have really. So yeah. Any fans?

    Oooh they sound good.
I don't know much about music, I just listen to whatever catches my ear.

Melodic death metal is a (in my opinion) more talented version of death metal, and a modern addition to melodeath is the use of keyboards and acoustic guitar. Compared to death metal, it's a lot more coherent. It actually has a melody, as opposed to death metal, which is just... blast beats, double bass and shitty guitar riffs played very fast. Even the singers sound better, because they sing actual words instead of gutturals and "bree bree bree" lol. The songs can be about anything, but perseverance and determination seem to be the most popualr themes. The three melodeath "legends" are in flames, at the gates and dark tranquility. Maybe not legends, but they basically invented everything in that genre. And I guess I should mention gothenburg metal too. That's the name of a city in scandinavia somewhere where the melodic death metal sound originated. The leading modern artist for gothenburg metal is arch enemy. But obviously, in flames are the ones who completely dis-own everyone in this area.

That enough information fer ya? :P

And I love xmpt's attempt at sounding technical, lol.
BREE BREE BREE BREE!!! RROO ROO ROO ROO!!...
