    The Beatles

I'm sure there was another topic before on them, but nothing came up in the search... so yeah..

The Beatles are definately one of my all time favorite bands. Sure, they aren't very metal or hardcore, but their songs are so catchy I can't stop listening to them :P

I have so many favorite songs by them. Revolution, Please Mr. Postman, Eleanor Rigby, Strawberry Fields Forever, and I am the Walrus are probably my top five, but there many more.

    Your opinions?

I have the "1" album. They are completely different from what I usually listen to, but weirdly, I love them. Who doesn't?

    Re: The Beatles

I have every song the Beatles ever released, as far as I know.

I really like their old stuff for some odd reason. I can't pick one song, but I'd have to say Abbey Road is my favorite album. It's good because it still has the positive feel of their older albums, while progressing towards the heaviness of their later albums.

If I HAD to pick one song, I'd pick Maxwell's Silver Hammer because the lyrics are genius when matched with the mood of the song. It's the most cheerful song I've ever heard about a serial killer :O

If you mean that song's about Charles Manson, it isn't. I read somewhere that many people thought/think this song is about him, but his murders happened after this song was recorded.

I believe Paul McCartney also said something about Maxwell's silver hammer being his analogy, for when his life has downfalls.

It's a great song though, very catchy :P

@Baha: About that sheet music thing, that's awesome. I never knew that, lol.
