ESP's are good guitars, especially if you are on a bit of a budget.
I don't own one of them personally, but I have played one, and I know that they are best used for playing metal/punk. If blues is your think, a Fender would suit you.
    But yeah, go for it.
My advice would be to buy a decent metal amp too.

This would be suited in the music section. I haven't really come across an ESP so i can't really say much about it. Look at some reviews and see what's what.

The EX-50 gives a better thrash sound.
My friend has one. And I also prefer the shape of it to be honest.

Pretty good budget guitar. Al.though, I would wait and save up for a Dean Razorback. The cheapest I think is 700, but if you get the dimebag ones, you'll shit bricks at how heavy the sound is. They leave room for clean sounds too. The dimebucker at the neck will make you blow a load in your pants. Overall, it's worth a wait if you don't have money right now. It's got GREAT reviews, and it's a higher quality.

Oh yea.. Darn.If you get the ESP, go with a Line 6 spider, they aren't uber expensive and they got great quality.

Right, I played with one of those. Great amps and all. But I probably will have to wait another 6 months to get an amp. Sadly.
Sad faec . Oh well, when you do get the stuff, tell us.

Another possible amp is a Roland Cube-15.
They are $100 or thereabouts (I think), and they sound like this:

    Possibly a good choice?
