What does that mean? Did you see it too or not?

I didn't see it, but I thought I could ruin your aspiration to be the only one on DD to get into the movies for free.

I'm probably going to see it because my friend next door is obsessed with that kind of stuff and may want me to tag along. But I will doubt its success as it looks quite childish and it follows the fan-made novels instead of george lucas' ideas.

Basically when I read the description, lando callrissian (or however name is spelled) is married, some other random instances, not to mention some jedi's that just don't fit the description of badass.

Re: Star Wars: Clone wars Animated

Saw it last night, I think it was okay but if you haven't seen ANY other movies and you're into star wars then go ahead and see it. Warning long read and some spoilers. To start off it takes place in between episode II and III if you don't know already.

Because it's an animated series it takes off with a fan-made novel feel. But because this some aren't fluent with the novels and such, a narrator was forced to explain some things. First off, there's a new sith jedi who dual-wields lightsabers and can change them into a staff, that would be that 'yess my lord' girl. Problem is I can't remember her name, probably because it wasn't badass enough to remember.

Then there's a Padawan that joins in the fray as Anakin's student who also has a weird name 'Masoca', and she has to learn through experience in the field. The point of the story is, Jabba the Hut's son is captured by the Sith (Count Dooku and all) but Jabba doesn't know that the Sith have their son. So the rebels have to find Jabba's son and turn him in alive and then they remain neutral to the crime lord and gain access to their supplies and such.

And so the rebels find the son, who's a baby hut larva (which is supposed to be cute but I didn't get it). Then the Sith send a video of the Rebels taking the 'hutlet' aboard their ship to Jabba. The Sith show this as proof of the Rebels taking Jabba's son hostage. And so Jabba being as dumb as shit believes them and orders them to kill all rebels.

And in the middle of these paragraphs there's some animated action with Anakin Obi-wan and Masoca at a heavy spaced frame-rate, and then Anakin-Masoca bonding.

The parts that I thought were really lame, the trade federation wasn't as evil as you would think they were. The droids would make jokes at any point in screentime. General Grievous didn't get ANY screentime (which is a huge letdown). And just the plot itself, saving a baby-ish larva just didn't work out for me. I can imagine the kids being happy though.

I had to see it again for free last night. But Yadda's right, Grevious should've had way more screen time.

I think they should've kept it animated like the series on TV.
