Dawn of the Dead (2004 version)

Old film, I know, but I only just saw it.
Oh and how glad I am that I did.
Honestly, new favourite film. I was shitting myself up until about halfway, then I kinda got used to it. But seriously, the ending was brilliant. SPOILER (highlight to see)
I liked how everyone died at the end, like in Cloverfield. It was just more realistic. Plus, it had Disturbed - Down With the Sickness at the end. What song fits better?
Also, the running zombies just added to the threat. Loping mumbling zombies was getting old too - screaming sprinting zombies is awesome.

All in all, 9.8/10. Fucking loved it.

This is the only zombie movie I've ever seen on TV that I liked. I don't know why, I just liked it. It seemed like everything in the movie fit well, and it was hard for me to see any flaws in it.

    So yeah, good movie

    It is a awesome movie.
But it is not that original.
People get stuck in a mall and try to live for a little bit.
But then they try to escape, because some people let the zombies in the mall.

Re: Dawn of the Dead (2004 version)

True. I did love the movie and all but the zombies were unrealistic I thought...I mean come on...they are supposed to be dead, meaning they shouldn't have a sense of where someone is nor should they be able to run...it just ruins the feel of the zombies I though.

They should have made the zombies a bit less smart with this sense of where someone is and they should have made the zombies do more of a limp instead of running at full speed, it made them feel too much like a person who is alive.

Still though, the script and acting was amazing. The soundtrack music that tied in the movie was genius, I mean...who thought of using Down With The Sickness when I think a sickness is what caused it. Only thing I didn't care for was the ending, because it was a cliffhanger and it made me suspicious of what happened next.
