    Scary movies?

Okay, last night I watched this movie called the stangers. 10 minutes into the movie things were already seeming wrong. 15 minutes into the movie, things were being slightly moved around in the house by someone who hadn't been seen. Maybe 30 minutes into the movie you see a tall, blank man in a ripped pillow mask with eyes standing behind a woman motionless. The movie kept me occupied and excited
    But that's not the point.
I've seen other movies like the second Jason movie and stuff. If you've seen the Jason movies, you'll notice they'll show you like fucking 40 minutes of just normal conversation and life just to supposely get you scared, then when the situation finally rises it was like something that you thought was Jason but really it was some other guy. Then when Jason really does show up he follows people around, calls their numbers--then hangs up, shit like that.
The point of this was that most scary movies, like the popular Jason series are tacky, boring, and just a waste of time. I just wanted to know what others think about stuff like this.
I personally thought the strangers was a good one. Probaly the best one out there. A fraction of the movie was actually true as well, according to what was said at the beginning.
So,with that all said, what do you guys think about scary movies?

well if you thought the jason movies were a waste of time with the conversations
heres one to bore the shit out of you

    FUNNY GAMES

    its so retarded
45 minutes of the movie is a woman crying
10 minutes the woman waiting on an open road
and when the woman kills one of the killers in the movie
the killer thats left tries to find a remote then
presses the playback button and the movie rewinds....
i've never felt the feeling of boredom,
    suicide thoughts, and stomache pain
    at the same time

The Strangers? That's your example of a scary movie?

Agreed. I had to have a pile of new boxers beside me when I was watching it.

    Saw.

Fucking epic. I have always hated Horror stuff, because they are always so lame.
    But this one wasn't.

    Re: Scary movies?

I've recently become a horror film junkie, 'tis cool.

But so far I've only seen The Shining, Saw I and Saw II.

My mum won't let me get/watch the rest of the saw movies or the exorcist, too 'scary'.

BUT I STILL DO LOL REBEL
