    A New Keyboard

I've always wanted to upgrade my keyboard from my Yamaha PSR 260 (I've had it since second grade). But what keyboard should I get? I don't want to get something too expensive, but it should have recording capabilities and not too bad sound quality. I was thinking a Casio or something, but what are your suggestions?

Ask for keyboard advice elsewhere. There are very few keyboard players here. None actually. Lots of pianists though lawl

Something by Roland, they usually do good quality keyboards, but I have stuck with Yamaha because for me, they do the most realistic piano sounds, lol, because I can't afford a piano, or find room for one, so I use the keyboard.

Oh, okay. Well I've been asking around a lot of places, thought that I might as well ask here.

None of our advice will matter. You don't want to buy a keyboard online. If you're going to buy one in a store, you may as well and go ask the salespeople what they think, and then try it out in the store. There are a ton of decent recording keyboards for cheap, but there's no way to know exactly what you're looking for from what you asked. You'd be better off going to a store and feeling them out.

I'm not exactly an "expert" on keyboards (HUURRRR BUY A STEINWAY D) by any means, but I am planning on buying one for university (since a baby grand isn't very practical for an apartment) and have a bit of experience helping other people buy them.
