    Music without a certain track part

    Sorry if the tittle doesn't explains pretty well :P

    the thing is that I see that many people in youtube get a song without a certain track (example: they get a song without the guitar track) and I was wondering if any of you guys know how to get one

    Your best bet would be to google for backing tracks. There are a ton of sites that have songs without vocals/guitar parts that you can play along with.

    If you can't find the song, your only other options are to do a cover of the backing yourself, (requires time/effort/skill) edit the tracks out of an .mp3 (requires time/effort/skill) or buy the master recordings from the record company. (requires money/money/money)

    None of those options are very good.

    FL Studio 8 and EZDrummer can be used to make any kind of backing track you want.

    and audacity is good for clipping the music, but not sure about the backtrack thing ._. hope it helped?

    A lot of people just play over it. Or say, for when I play bass, sometimes I turn the bass on my speakers down, so I can't hear the bass part to the song (all that much). Nothing else really.
