    Dream Theater

Listened to their Octavarium album last night, holy shit. I didn't think much of the band having only the Images and Words album, but this album really has changed my opinion on them.

Pretty much every song on there gave me chills, especially the title song. It's one of those songs that you can't drift away into your own world whilst listening to, it makes you focused on listenening and nothing else, even if the song is 24 minutes long q:

Anyway, I reccomend that album to anyone who wants to listen to them. Does anyone have any other suggestions for their albums? If so, thanks.

The new one, the one that has constant motion on it, ftw

    Re: Dream Theater

I love Dream Theater. One of my favorite bands. Ever.
The first song I heard by them was In the Name of God.
Not sure which album that's on. But it's a good song.

I don't really listen to them much, but I do like Awake quite well.

I haven't listened many songs from them, and specially from their newer albums, however I love The dance of eternity from Scenes of a Memory.

    Acid Rain is pretty sweet
I prefer their instrumental or mostly instrumental stuff more
    and Octivarium is pretty tight

I've actually never gotten through all of Octivarium, haha.

Really love Space-Dye Vest. It gives me chills every time I listen to it.

I like Images and Words the most, although Octavarium is ok.

YOU NEED Metropolis Part 2, it's their best album in my opinion. Other than that, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence is also bad ass.
