Looks very shitty. I read the books, and it looks nothing like them. They also made him much to old, he is supposed to be 13-14ish.

This looks like more of a comedy than vampire movie D:

And where in the book did it say that he could climb walls?
Probably not going to watch this since they've gotten most of the details wrong...in 2 minutes or so.

The books made reference to vampires like Crepsley having the ability to scale walls using their finger nails.

    Mr. Crepsley.
I'm currently rading the 7th in the series right now.
When I saw this I saw a little excited. Then I saw who played mr. crepsley...

    Oh ya, that's right.
Although the way they showed Darren do it made him look like Spiderman.

They've made it into what looks to be a comedy which is rather disappointing, also the book made a big plot line out of Darren being too young to be turned. So that looks like its practically out of the window. Also although i love John C. Reily i could tell as soon as i saw his name on IMDB that he wasn't right for the role. I may check this film out but not till the DVD is released i believe.

The book does have a bit of humor to it.

I haven't read the book so this seems fairly entertaining.
