    Post-Rock

Probably one of the greatest musical genres. You have to listen to it to understand what it is.

    Sigur Ros - Olsen Olsen

Bark Psychosis - Loom/ Street Scene

    Talk Talk - Ascension Day

Those are my three favorite post-rock bands, so I thought I'd post them. Enjoy and discuss.

I love post rock, it makes amazing atmosphere music (good for small parties/gatherings).

I haven't bothered listening to a lot of it, but what I have heard I've loved. I should probably start paying more attention to the genre :3

Currently my favourite genre, and feels like it will be for a long while.

    My favourite songs include:

    Follow the Map by MONO
Quiet by This Will Destroy You
Threads by This Will Destroy You
    Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros
    Saeglopur by Sigur Ros
    Drove Through Ghosts by 65daysofstatic
Moya by Godspeed You! Black Emperor

The best band in the genre is GY!BE. Of course Mogwai and some other bands are pretty good as well (Explosions in the Sky, Jesu, and A Silver Mt. Zion).

Now, Post-metal is where it's at. Sludge, doom and progressive all mixed into one. FUCK YEAR
