    District 9 (sequel?)

I just saw the movie, it is EPIC. Easily in my top 10 of best movies ever.
Can someone tell me if there is going to be a sequel to it?

District 9 was good, but not something I'll watch a second time by my own will. I doubt I'd see the sequel if it came out.

I don't think there's gonna be a sequel. It was kind of good, more funny than actually good though.

wow I just noticed ward is FH, congratulations, dude

I actually though it was really, really good. Not the story itself but they managed to portray the fact that Humans are incoherent and racist by nature, with no reason. It makes us think how guns and money have become priorities in our lives. In spite of the fact that the movie had a moral I didn't think that this moral was any more appealing, however, it represents our racism and hatred towards other races.

Despite the fact they practically throw the racial discrimination hints at your face, I liked it. Wikus' chirpy and timid sense of importance was played very well. The whole corporatism thing was a bit overplayed though, the extremely cliché colonel who hunted Wikus throughout the film was just ridiculous.
Putting that aside, it was entertaining. Though like PivotDragon, I doubt I'd see it again.

Wat, I thought most people liked this movie more than not. Wikus was a great character and I loved the CGI. It was done amazingly well for the small budget.
Anyways, I read somewhere that the director said a sequel was possible. It would probably be about District 10, and the return of that one prawn guy to restore Wikus back to his human form, or maybe not.

The movie had really cool action and was very entertaining, pretty alright plot too. I agree with what others are saying, I won't watch it again. It's one of those one-timer things that people watch with their mates, definitely not a family movie.
But I did enjoy the movie, I heard there was going to be a sequel, but I'm not sure whether it will actually happen.

I absolutely loved the movie and like Fudermuffin mentioned before, I reckon it was bloody good for a small budget film. I'd probably go see it if there was sequel.
