You haven't been in the 60's so you can't miss it.

Well I found it more convenient to write 'miss' as opposed to 'is jelly that they weren't born in' so idk bro.

I'm not jelly even though i love the music made back then.
I honestly think you can enjoy that music better nowadays, since you can just put it on your I-pod and listen to it any day, every day. The only thing i would have really wanted to witness, is Woodstock.

    Got to love the hippies

60's were good, certainly had some of the best jazz and bob dylan. wouldn't say i wish i was born then, i'd be missing out a lot of great modern music.

I'm far from jealous of the 60's. The music was cool, but holy shit the rest was bad.

Re: Who here misses the 60's?

    What?

I mean, who the fuck cares about the vast amount of music we have today? Who cares about musical diversity? Who cares if the modern music industry allows almost anyone to distribute their music and become famous if they're talented enough? I'd much rather live in a time where 99% of music is confined to a handful of instruments and genres, where the only way to get exposure to music without devoting your life to following bands is by listening to the radio and buying CD's produced by large record companies.

You might be able to argue that music in the 60's was better than music today. If that's all you're saying, I politely disagree but respect your opinion. It's not like you can't listen to the music today or something.

Re: Who here misses the 60's?

Here are the bands from the 60's that I listen to regularly :

    -Bob Dylan
    -Neil Young
    -The Kinks
    -Led Zeppelin

I think that is all. On the other side, I have much more content from the 70's.
