    Dr. Dre Beats

Hey guys, I don't know how many of you guys out there have the beats, but I bought my second pair and am quite frustrated. The headphones are Driver driven, so if you plug them into a device that doesn't have the drivers on it, then the music sounds like hell. I have been looking around and it's damn near impossible to get the drivers third party.

    Anyone else got the beats?

I had the original beats, they were okay, lasted me a while. Snapped them in half when I got angry.
I don't know about the new ones though, i'm getting some soon though, so i'll be sure to inform you when I do.

You are paying for the box, case, the earbuds, and the cable. The headphones themselves are rather mediocre. I only get them when they go on sale, because they are overpriced as fuck. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my first pair of beats. They were the originals and were awesome. Well worth the sale price I got them for.

I just hate that they went to drivers for the sound quality.

A driver is a piece of software, for a computer, developed for you to control a piece of hardware that you have installed.

I have a pair of studios, I don't know what year they are though. I absolutely love them. I would never have bought them at full price, but I got them brand new for $150, so I'm really happy with them.

I know that much, but I was just wondering why op would need a driver to listen to his headphones out of his computer's headphone jack...? I could listen to my year-old Studios without any extra installations, etc.
