    For those who like soccer....

This would have to be the biggest dive I have ever seen, both the ref and Barisha need to be strung up to a tree and lynched.

Oh god what has happened to this game. Obviously that was a dive but you can't really blame the referee there, all he's got is his view of what happened and you can see why he'd think it was a bad challenge from where he was standing.

It's been a long time since I watched football, but has this kind of thing seriously not been addressed yet? Can't they have some impartial people set aside for situations just like this? I don't know how it'd work, maybe each team gets a few 'challenges' and they can challenge the call of a ref, and then he has to go and review the situation from different camera angles and see if he was wrong or what, but I hate that a sport I used to love is now who can dive better. Didn't someone win a world cup because of a dive?

Italy cost Australia a chance in the finals a few years back because of a dive.
And this was the grand final, that dive cost Perth Glory (where I live so I barrack for them) their first finals win in the A - League (they won it before it was the A-League

No contact there. Tripped over himself, shitty thing to do.

It wasn't exactly his fault that the referee interpreted his fall as a offensive action from the opponent team.

Yes it clearly was, he obviously flopped as if he was hurt. ^

This is happening in practically any sport I see.. I think it's fucking sad that people actually see this as a "game tactic/technique" nowadays. A lot of my friends are footballers and they think it is too, sickens me. That's just winning by lying and cheating instead of winning by skill and willpower. Fucking sad how sportsmanship is disappearing so fast.

It seemed to me that he just fell, because of a pathetic motor system and that it wasn't his initial intention to play it off as an infringement.

He immediately swings his hand up after he goes down to call for a penalty.

Also, here's an interesting talk on diving from Gary Neville http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xq65vw ... ving_sport
