    Experimental Music

I doubt this thread will survive since experimental music is keen to not doing well in this forum, but I feel it is important I talk about.

    Summed by Wikipedia:

World's End Girlfriend (????????????????) is the musical project of Katsuhiko Maeda, whose work blends elements of electronica, classical music, and post-rock to create a style reminiscent of several other modern day bands.
As a whole, the genre can be described as experimental post-rock. (Kind of redundant saying experimental for the genre). The music itself can be described at being moody, slightly strange at time and often bitter-sweet.

His style and inspiration changes greatly album by album, so let me show you few songs from various albums.

    Listening You

    Daydream Loveletter

100 Years of Choke (this one is my favourite)

    Les enfants du paradis

Last song comes from his most accessible album to date.

I adore World's End Girlfriend, you might want to change this into Experimental Music in general, if you want to keep this (somewhat) alive.

I don't see why not actually.

Other experimental stuff in my catalogue is the experimental/prog band The Sound of Animals Fighting. The reason I think it's experimental is related to the nature of the recording. Basically, every members recorded individually and were only allowed to listen to their part before the full release. (except for one member who I think had something to do with the mixing).

The band made 3 albums between 2004 and 2008 and disbanded after.

But anyways, to contribute to this thread; Anthony Green (the Skunk from TSOAF) is a great example of experimental music. He's been making music with many bands as well as his own solo-career; Tackling many forms of Rock, then adding his newfound knowledge to his current band, Circa Survive. Overall, he's a talented singer.

    Here's some of his work.

It's evident through Circa Survive's new album that he displays different styles of music.

    Circa Survive- Phantasmagoria

I like that and kind of reminds me of Tom Waits to an extent.
